History

The Aero Dynamics team owner, WWR Aero, joined TORA part-way through the 2009 season and became part of the Biggs Racing Motorsport GT3 and Touring Car efforts. Having found his feet with the Association, Aero decided to “be his own boss” and start up his own team for the 2010 season and thus Team Aero Dynamics was born.

The team’s first and arguably most important signing was fellow Wire To Wire Racing driver; WWR Chillz. Chillz’s race tuning knowledge and determination to find the perfect setup for each race meant that the two WWR drivers were almost always at the sharp end of the field. 
The 2010 season saw a packed calendar, and Team Aero Dynamics were to field entries in almost all series. The dominance of WWR Chillz in the first half of the year was matched by WWR Aero’s success in the second half. In all, the team secured a massive 12 Teams Championship titles, and 8 Drivers Championship titles, as well as the 2010 Team of the Year award, and the 2010 Most Improved Driver award for garyp3398.

With such success in 2010, expectations were high for the 2011 season, but the team struggled following the departure of WWR Chillz. Unreliability also plagues the team, and often only one car would be seen at a meeting. Nonetheless, glimmers of the team’s potential have been seen, with AudiSport Louis and gen3ral ts0 taking the wins in LMP1 and LMP2 respectively at the 2.4 Heures Du Mans. The team also took the top step in the Winter GT Series, performed a Drivers and Teams lock-out of the GT1 World Championship titles, and look set to take the Teams Championship title in the ISCC.

For 2012 expect to see the return of some old faces, as Aero Dynamics looks to sign a regular driver line-up and return to their winning ways.
